Set high above Chattanooga, Oak Cliff Manor is a home shaped by light, landscape and the gracious rhythm of gathering.
Built in 1941 and approached by a pea-gravel drive bordered by old stone walls, the residence feels removed from the city below—yet remains intimately connected to it. Sunrise enters from the east. In the evening, the western sky settles behind Lookout Mountain.

The story of Oak Cliff
Designed by Gill & Wallace and completed in 1941, Oak Cliff has watched Chattanooga grow from its place on Missionary Ridge. Its history is held not only in original plans and photographs, but in the way the house has continued to welcome people—around the table, through the gardens and beneath the old trees.
From the ridge, the day closes slowly—light moving across the lawn as Lookout Mountain settles into silhouette.
